  • Condition: This saddle is a RED ARABIAN NATIVE COSTUME SADDLE that is being SOLD AS IS WHERE IS. It presents well just looking at it but underneath the saddle is a patchwork of repairs made with a material that does not match. The other things that I notice about it are, there is a very small burn like hole in the solid red saddle area on the top and a red material repair made on the skirt part on the left which is really not noticible just to look at the saddle. Those are the only things that I notice on the top. The Girth and the small leather strap are both well worn too. The repair on the bottom of the saddle is really the only thing that does not look that good. Please inspect the pictures carefully as, of course, your opinion may be different from mine but I am trying to be as honest as I can about the condition of this saddle.

    Description

    This is an AUTHENTIC RED NATIVE ARABIAN COSTUME SADDLE that I used in COSTUME CLASSES and PARADES and is now beings offered for sale FOR DISPLAY ONLY.  I am selling it just for display only because of the legal reasons and legal suits that might occur if you were hurt riding the saddle but, of course, you can use it however you want once you have purchased it.
    There is a story that goes with this saddle. I was told that it was left in a Tack Shop for repairs in MIDDLEBURG, VIRGINIA (Jackie O Territory) by an ARABIAN PRINCE. It was never picked up and a friend of mine obtained it and called me to see if I wanted it before she put it up for sale in her shop. She knew that I showed ARABIANS and might want it. I bought it immediately and have had it ever since. The saddle has had a lot of repairs to it and is not in great condition although it looks great just to look at it. I have ridden on it several times. The underside of the saddle is a patchwork of repairs made with a different color material. I am not sure why it was done this way but I just wanted anyone that wants the saddle to be aware of this.
