Description

Lionel 6-85081 UTLX FreightSounds Tank Car used. Includes original box, packaging, instructions and scale coupler mounting pads and spacers. Sounds are great and work.  Selling this to update our rolling stock.  Now the bad news- a couple years ago we accidentally broke the top of one of the trucks and had to glue it and use a different screw as the threads in the tank body no longer seem to hold the original screw. We put a layer of tape around the screw head to make it wider to hold the truck in place/less wobbling, see 2nd photo.  It holds fine. The railing on this car is fragile.  I've had to glue it in numerous places.  You can see one glue drip from the top of the tank in the 6th photo.  This car has always had some white powdery stuff on it ever since it was new, it wipes off, I don't know if it's from the factory or what.  Lionel did a great job on the couplers on this car, it's very easy to remove them and install Kadee couplers.  Please ask questions and thanks for looking.
