    Description

Old Prohibition Prescription Stub Whisky Pharmacy Doctor Bar Simon Massillon OH
    Welcome
    &
Thank You for Shopping In the USA!
A great original doctor's Prohibition prescription stub for 8 oz Whiskey...for Acute Bronchitis! Printed below in red: This stub must be clearly and legibly written and must be retained by the physician as his record subject to inspection by Federal Officers"! Please see photo!
From the days of Al Capone, speakeasies and moonshine this was the only legal way to drink liquor in the US!
The whiskey was prescribed for Lena Simon, by Dr. Burton J. Miller, both of Massillon, OH, on January 25, 1930. It was issued by the Treasury Department and when held to the light, PROHIBITION is partially watermarked.
The prescription stub measures 4 1/2" by 3", has some age toning (not pure white), otherwise, condition is excellent...a great medicinal whiskey prescription stub from the Prohibition!
This is a fantastic piece of history and would be great to display in a pharmacy, doctor's office, museum, bar or office!
