    I will send you the necessary receipts for you to file a claim with the Carrier. It is YOUR responsibility to file a claim for any insured items that are damaged because that is what Insurance is purchased for. This is the U.S. Post Office requirement and this information is found on their web site on the “File A Claim” page.  I can NOT file claims with the Post Office for you. E Bay might tell you differently, but the U.S. Postal Regulations and Requirements are very clear. In order for the claim to be processed with the Carrier, the receiver of the damaged item must file the claim at their local Carrier Office or you may file online. You will need to keep the damaged item, the box with the labels on it, and all of the original packing materials as the Carrier may require them for proof of damage.
