Uhl Pottery Yellow Ware Grapes & Leaves blue glaze # 183 pitcher 6"
Nice vintage Uhl Pottery piece!  Design is of grapes and leaves.  Body is yelloware and glaze is blue and a few spots have a bit less blue glaze and some spots the yellow shows through(see photo).
Measures 6" tall, 5 3/4" across handle to spout, 3 1/4" in diameter at the bottom.  Bottom is marked "183"
As expected from a utilitarian pottery piece this has some factory flaws.  It was made as a piece to be used not as a piece of art pottery. Imperfections are as follows:
Already mentioned misses in blue glaze show yellow ware body in a few places, some tiny glaze pops (see photo), and a few small black spots, bottom underside has crazing in glaze but no other grazing anywhere else.
There are 3 factory cracks, the first is a 1/8" black crack on top edge near the handle (see photo).  The second is the same type of black crack of glaze miss on the other side of the handle at the top edge.
The third is a "V" shaped glazed over crack near the first , which is very hard to see but is raised a bit and can be felt when you run your finger around the top edge. All 3 of which, we are 99% certain, are factory flaws.
